Changing name by deed poll (apply by phone)

You can apply for your deed poll by calling freephone helpline. We have trained advisors that can submit the application on your behalf and give you guidance on any name change related issues.

Please note: If you're applying for a child deed poll over the phone you will still need to send us a letter of consent confirming that everyone with parental responsibility consents to the name change.

Our deed poll helpline is available between the hours of 9am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 1pm on Sundays.
