UK official deed poll

To apply for your deed poll by post you'll first have to obtain a postal application pack. Postal packs can be requested by calling our deed poll helpline on 604 757 1028 or by talking to an advisor using our live chat service.

In order to dispatch a postal application pack to you we'll need the following information:

• Your full name
• Your address and postcode
• Your telephone number or email address
• The number of application packs you require

How long will it take?

There are substantial delays in processing postal applications when compared to those received online or over the phone.

You must take into consideration the travel time it takes to get the application from our offices to your home address, and then back again. This is usually three to four days on its own. We then have to clear your payment and process the application. If you're paying by cheque there will be a further delay of around six days while we bank the cheque and then wait for it to clear.

These delays should not be a problem unless you need your deed poll as a matter of urgency. If this is the case, we recommend that you submit your application either online or over the phone.
